OPHIRA Transport Guide | KTM, MRT, LRT & Walking Access

Planning a home around your train journey? Use this guide to separate OPHIRA’s nearby-station information from the walking route and transport connection you need to check.

KTM Segambut: the nearby rail reference

The OPHIRA project website lists KTM Segambut at approximately 450 metres. Treat that as the project's indicative location reference, rather than a measured route from a future unit to a platform. View the project website's amenities information.

If walking to KTM is important to your home search, check the route from the intended pedestrian exit to the station entrance. A line drawn on a location map cannot show every crossing, footpath gap or access restriction you might encounter on a daily journey.

Walking to MRT and walking to LRT are separate questions

MRT, LRT and KTM are different rail networks. Confirm the full station name before comparing a development with another property advertised near a station. A general reference to the Sentul area does not identify a specific MRT or LRT entrance.

This guide has not verified a walkable route from OPHIRA to an MRT or LRT station. Use the current operator map, choose the station and direction relevant to your destination, and check how you would get there from the project site.

A walking-route checklist for the viewing

  1. Ask for the intended pedestrian access point for the completed development and the current site-viewing meeting point.
  2. Identify the actual station entrance you would use, rather than the station marker alone.
  3. Check pavements, crossings, lighting, steps and any barriers along the route.
  4. Try the journey at the time you expect to travel and allow for station access and waiting.
  5. Confirm the current train service for your destination and how you would return home.

Where access arrangements are still proposed, ask which plans are approved and what will be available at completion. Any future shuttle or connecting access needs its own confirmed arrangements.

What to ask when comparing a Dutamas TOD condo

A nearby station and a useful daily rail journey are valuable things to investigate. If you specifically want a transit-oriented development, ask for evidence of the project's formal TOD status, the approved pedestrian connection and any promised station access. This website has not verified a formal TOD designation for OPHIRA.

For your own shortlist, write down the practical result: which station, how it is reached, which part of the route was checked and which details still need confirmation. That is more useful for a viewing discussion than relying on the TOD label alone.
